Goddess of Love

A woman becomes loyal, passionate, affectionate and emotional with the one who has a very special place in her heart. That’s what made her very royal and noble among other creations. Her feelings of love cannot be described in words as she wants to associate her whole life with some one who is very dear to her. For that, she acts a bit selfish as well because she knows the importance of love in her life. Although women are considered from the planet Venus and men are from Mars but the love between them eliminate their differences as the two agreed to share their sorrows and happiness with each other.
The goddess of love was known as Venus in Roman mythology .The symbols associated with planet Venus are of rose, palm and apple which deals with love, desire, affection, attraction and harmony. It is the combination of circle and cross having two characteristics i.e. spiritual and material. According to astrology, Venus has a dual relationship with Taurus and Libra and is their planetary ruler as well, that’s why it is associated with two important aspects of life, love and money. Love is all about pleasure shared with someone else but money reflects the materialistic and selfish side of it. When Venus is prevalent in a person’s chart or the current astrological outlook, they receive extra gifts in their appearance and attractiveness which extends to people as well as to their financial outlook.
Aphrodite was the goddess of love in Greek mythology and was associated with love, beauty and fertility. She was loyal to Adonis who was her inamorata. Her love for him was extremely passionate and flamed as she used to spend the entire day hunting with him. Due to her attractive looks and beauty, many Gods loved her and in their jealousy with Adonis, they disrupted the peace among themselves and even instigated a war.
Love and beauty with which Aphrodite associates has power to attract others as we all know that love is one of the human emotions which have enough strength to make someone travel to unimaginable territories. Devotion and sacrifice are other words which describes love and in keeping with that, Aphrodite also made her love her moxie and fortitude. That is exactly how love can make a women powerful or a weakling among others.
As they say that love is a powerful emotion with the ability to bring even the Gods to their knees and indeed that’s exactly what happened with Aphrodite when Adonis was killed by a boar. A beautiful scented flower, Anemone grew from his blood as Aphrodite grieved and cried over her beloved lifeless body.
Love is the most powerful motivation in the world. It spurs mortals to greatness and their bravest act are done for love. The goddess gave a message to those who worshipped her that love requires sacrifices beyond our expectations. She bestowed her feelings on those who worshipped her but she was merciless who contemn love. The message of her will always be kept  in the memories of Roman as many of their festivals are based upon her.
